Edmonton dancer and artist, Tia Kushniruk often felt like she was forced into a box, as an aspiring Canadian dancer. Her experiences have not only shaped her as an artist, but also inspired her new short film, monolith.
Using a mix of dance and dialogue to showcase the power struggle between a woman, and her mysterious control figure, monolith will be presented virtually by Mile Zero Dance this weekend, Friday, April 16 and Saturday, April 17, 2021.
