Edmonton’s Mile Zero Dance Company is presenting a creation by Calgary-based choreographer Pam Tzeng. SHED | knowing each other as different and the same is a multidisciplinary show featuring a special duet performed by experimental artist FOONYAP. The MZD-presented show is set to take place June 3-4 at Edmonton’s Orange Hub.
Described as a “collection of moving portraits,” SHED | knowing each other as different and the same utilizes a talented roster of BIPOC artists to express themes of beauty and resilience. Embracing the concept of “Bodies of Culture,” Tzeng’s choreography seeks to explore the intimate and vast inner landscapes of the performers’ lived experiences using their bodies’ movements.
