Edmonton’s Valley Line LRT expansion is set to feature a large amount of public artwork, almost entirely from Canadian artists. All of the line’s proposed 11 stops will incorporate visual art commissioned largely from local and regional creators.
Many of the art pieces for the Southeast stretch of the line are already in place, with more to be completed in the coming months. CKUA’s Scott Zielsdorf brought us more on the world of LRT artwork on Alberta Morning on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in conversation with David Turnbull of the Edmonton Arts Council.
