Multi-disciplinary artist Peter Von Tiesenhausen grew up in northern Alberta’s Peace Country. His connection to the land and passion for environmentalism has informed his work throughout his career – from using natural materials and repurposing unused scraps from previous projects to copyrighting the farmland he has lived on for decades to protect the property from oil and gas development, the land and elements have shaped him.
