We’ve reached the final installment of our #FringeSpot profiles. And appropriately, we end with our headliner, the biggest name on the international Fringe circuit in the last few years, Tymisha Harris!
Tymisha’s show Josephine is about the life of Josephine Baker, the biggest burlesque star in Paris in the 1920s. Josephine later joined the French Resistance in the Second World War, and was a powerful voice in the American civil rights movement.
Our Fringe correspondent Peter Brown spoke with Tymisha about her smash hit show, and the woman who inspired it.
Tymisha Harris will perform online tonight and tomorrow as part of The Fringe That Never Was. When you ask? You’ll have to tune-in to find out! Get the details at FringeTheatre.ca.
This, and other performances, interviews, live music, a even a virtual wine tent, is now up at It’s all free, but donations are welcome.
