Rapper, storyteller, and community activist KTheChosen has been named the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation’s Artist for the month of October.
The Zimbabwe-born Calgary-based hip-hop & spoken word artist dedicates much of his time to social initiatives, with an aim to creating an inclusive community, both in Calgary’s arts scene and beyond. His latest musical endeavour further enforces his cultural activism, and is his largest collaborative project to date. His forthcoming album +Vice aims to encourage conversations of mental wellbeing.
