The Esplanade in Medicine Hat recently launched a new exhibition tracing the boom and bust of Dauntless, Alberta. The company town was set to become a booming economic centre before rapidly declining into a ghost town by 1918.
Dauntless: The Lost Town features archival material that paints a picture of the town’s demise. Esplanade Assistant Archivist, Jennifer Utrera Barrientos, spoke to CKUA’s Rudy Howell about the exhibition.
