CKUA is a powerful hub for music, arts and culture, and one of the many talented people supporting the CKUA hub is Edmonton-based painter Karen Bishop. A large proponent of art and culture herself, Karen was the past owner of The Daffodil Gallery in Edmonton’s Gallery District. She has recently been offering up her painting skills in support of our spring fundraiser.
Karen has decided to depict the exterior of CKUA’s Alberta Hotel Building and auction off the painting, with 50% or more of the proceeds going to our Spring Fundraiser. Karen joined Grant Stovel on Alberta Morning to share more about what CKUA means to her:
