Jin-me Yoon explores her understanding of colonialism in Canada with Untunnelling Vision

The latest exhibition by Korean-born visual artist, Jin-me Yoon, highlights the complex interrelations of several locations in Calgary.

It is the fourth installation in a series exploring her understanding of colonialism in Canada. The exhibit displays a number of photo, video, and sculptural works, connected by themes of rubble and ruin.

Notable locations include the Passchendaele film set and Southwest Calgary Ring Road. Jin-me spoke with us about the meaning behind her latest project, Untunnelling Vision:
