Springboard Performance‘s Fluid Fest is presenting author Joshua Whitehead’s forthcoming book with a special livestream event called Making Love with the Land.
Within the performance of the work, six LGBTQ+ and BIPOC artists have been handpicked to embody excerpts from the book. Each performance will consist of a medium chosen by the artist.
CKUA’s Rudy Howell spoke to both Joshua and dance artist, Tia Ashley Kushniruk about the how the project came together.
