Indigenous Motherhood & Matriarchy at Calgary’s Central Library

Interview

When Treaty 7 artist Autumn Whiteway (a/k/a Night Singing Woman) was asked to curate an art exhibition, she knew she needed a topic. Then she had a baby during this crazy time, and she realized she’d found her theme.

Autumn Whiteway & Associate Curator Miriam Fabijan recently joined Grant Stovel to talk about Indigenous Motherhood & Matriarchy, on all September at Calgary’s Central Library.

Indigenous Motherhood and Matriarchy is on now through on now through September 30th at Calgary’s Central Library.
