Tony Young, aka Master T is best known for his years producing and hosting various program on MuchMusic, including Rap City. On Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 Master T celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop by moderating and curating a special event at Studio Bell in Calgary. The event features a live DJ showcase, MC contest, breakdancing, a hip hop roundtable plus performances from local hip hop groups.
CKUA’s Lisa Wilton invited Master T on the show to talk Canadian Hip Hop and how it fits into the genre’s 50-year history.
