Naim Cardinal has turned his lifelong passion for hockey trading cards into a genuine cultural celebration, and a truly remarkable accomplishment!

Nehiyaw (Cree), and from the Tallcree First Nation located in Treaty 8 territory of Alberta, Naim was born and raised in Fort Vermilion and has been an avid hockey card collector for many years.

In fact, he’s managed to collect the rookie card for every single Indigenous player, past and present, who’s ever suited up in the NHL. Naim recently joined Grant Stovel on Alberta Mornings to share more:
