On Saturday August 13 hosts Dawn Pemberton and Grant Stovel looked ahead, and found the blues groove, previewing the Edmonton Blues Festival.
Festival organizers are inviting people to take advantage of this opportunity to “party in the park,” since Hawrelak Park will be closing to undergo a revitalization project over the next few years.
Dawn and Grant were joined by some of the performers who will rock the blues fest stage, August 19 – 21. This included Alberta’s own Queen of the Swamp Blues, Kat Danser, Australian blues sensation Fiona Boyes, and the Louisiana zydeco king C.J. Chenier.
