It’s no surprise Hannah Owl Child, Lennon Owl Child and their cousin Erin Manyheads started playing instruments when they were young.
The members of the Siksika Nation-based trio, Double Rider, grew up surrounded by music. Many of their immediate family and relatives are musicians, including one of their major influences – their late grandfather Matthew Manyheads. He was a songwriter and guitarist who toured Alberta in rock bands throughout the ’70s and ’80s.
