Red Deer’s CAFF supports local filmmakers, local craft beer, and Mental Health

Interview

Does an opportunity to sit down with your cohort, sip on a craft beer and enjoy some of the best independent films made in the last year sound appealing? Some of the films screening at the Central Alberta Film Festival this week were even produced in our own backyard.

The Red Deer based event shifted from the theatre to a festival hall, but they are still welcoming people back to enjoy movies together. The Central Alberta Film Festival which kicks off Tuesday Oct 13th and runs until Saturday Oct 17th. The festival is sharing some of their proceeds from this year’s events with the Canadian Mental Health Association.
