Calgary theatre critic Louis B. Hobson joined Lisa Wilton on Traffic Jams on Tuesday, September 21, to give us an overview of Alberta’s theatre scene, which is slowly and cautiously re-opening after being largely shuttered throughout the pandemic.
Hobson told us about new musical productions being staged by Calgary’s Jubilations Theatre and Stage West Dinner Theatre, and Lacombe’s Cow Patti Theatre. He also discussed how theatre companies are navigating the costs of producing shows with COVID-19 regulations, and why it’s more important than ever for theatre fans to support the live theatre community.
