This is a big week for Alberta expat Brendan McLeod. For one thing, the Calgary-born Vancouver resident is up for some hardware on Sunday, May 15th, when the JUNO Awards get dished out!
His band The Fugitives are up for Best Traditional Roots Album. And on the very same day, his debut poetry collection will be published! Friends Without Bodies was inspired by his observations about the societal inequities that the pandemic era has highlighted, exploring the kind of thematic territory that has often infused his songwriting over the past 15 years with The Fugitives.
