Award-winning photographer Joe Chowaniec shares the bestselling ‘Abandoned Alberta’

We’ve all had those moments: spotting an old abandoned building by the side of the highway, marvelling at its eerie beauty, and wondering about the story behind it.

These decaying buildings have given Joe Chowaniec the inspiration for his brand-new photography book: Abandoned Alberta. The collection immediately became the number one bestselling photography book in Canada. It’s also been garnering rapturous reviews worldwide – from the likes of the BBC, and legendary anthropologist Jane Goodall.
