The Red Deer Symphony Orchestra is presenting the most famous four notes in classical music history: the legendary opening notes of Beethoven’s legendary Symphony No. 5. This iconic piece of music is then being paired with Oscar Peterson’s Hymn to Freedom, along with ragtime music from Stravinsky and Joplin. CKUA’s Leo Cripps is joined by the symphony’s Music Director Claude Lapalme.
