This week, director Ryan Sidhoo tells us about The Track, screening at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Poet Anna Marie Sewell describes her work and her experience receiving the 2025 Edmonton Artists’ Trust Fund award.  

Rat Academy comes to Edmonton’s Roxy Theatre, and we’ll chat with Katie Yoner and Dayna Lea Hoffmann a.k.a. the rats! Jared Tailfeathers discusses his new book, Music of the Earth’s Heartbeat: Blackfoot Legacy Vol. 2.

Anna Marie Sewell is a poet and writer based in Edmonton and one of the city’s former poet laureates. Her work celebrates life and its diverse beauty. She won the 2025 Edmonton Artists’ Trust Fund award, presented by the Edmonton Arts Council and the Edmonton Community Foundation. CKUA’s Lisa Wilton talks to Sewell about her art and the award.
