This week, we speak with Canadian musician and CKUA favourite Stephen FearingJay Malinowski from Bedouin Soundclash tells us about the band’s upcoming tour dates in Alberta.  

In the play After Mourning – Before van Gogh, Michael Czuba explores legacy of Vincent van Gogh and the woman who fought to celebrate his work.  Edmund Haakonson tells us about the mission to save Harcourt House, a studio for artists.

Canadian band Bedouin Soundclash will celebrate of their 2004 album Sounding a Mosaic with a tour that includes performances in Alberta. Jay Malinowski will discuss the tour and the band’s musical journey with CKUA’s Lisa Wilton.

Edmonton’s Shadow Theatre is showcasing a new play by Calgary playwright Michael Czuba. After Mourning – Before van Gogh explores the story of Johanna Bonger, the widow of Theo van Gogh, who inherited over 600 pieces of Vincent van Gogh’s artwork in 1891. Michael Czuba will chat with CKUA’s Tony King.
