For the past decade, singer/songwriter Meredith Moon has built a successful musical career for herself, all while omitting she is the daughter of legendary Canadian singer Gordon Lightfoot. She set out to prove herself in the Canadian music scene, on her own terms. Now, her second album Constellations is out now on True North and she’s touring in support of that release. That tour is bringing her to Sherwood Park’s Qualico Patio Series on July 24, and we’ll learn more about the upcoming show, and Meredith’s musical journey, on Monday’s Discoveries with Grant Stovel.

Tuesday July 23 at 5:40pm on Traffic Jams

This summer, the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies is offering a rare opportunity to view over 100 works by Group of Seven artist J.E.H. MacDonald. The exhibition is strengthened by research from geologists Patricia Cucman and the late Stanley Munn, who worked together to identify the exact locations of MacDonald’s paintings. Those findings were then captured in a major illustrated book. Patricia Cucman joins Lisa Wilton on Tuesday’s Traffic Jams to tell us more about the new exhibition.

Wednesday, July 24 at 1:40pm MT on Thoroughfare
