“Pyramids of Compassion,” a new collaboration between Jairus Sharif and Francis A. Willey, provide +15 Soundscape‘s new sound exhibition. It’s an immersive, multichannel audio experience, located near the Theatre Calgary wood shop on the +15 level of Calgary’s Werklund Centre. The artists describe it as “channeling transformative energy into the world, using sound as a conduit for emotional resonance and collective connection.” Multi-disciplinary artist Francis A. Willey is Tony King‘s guest on Wednesday’s Thoroughfare.

Not only was Frank Farley a passionate naturalist, staunch environmental activist, and the namesake of his celebrated grand-nephew, Farley Mowat; he was also a world-class birder. The book details his career as a scientist, conservationist and mentor.
