September marks the Month of the Artist in Alberta. As part of the month-long celebrations, Alberta’s Artist in Residence, Samantha Williams-Chapelsky, is set to showcase paintings featuring beautiful locales from across our province. CKUA’s Leo Cripps chats with the artist.

The documentary series Horse Warriors is releasing its second season on APTN September 4, 2025. Capturing the perspectives of multiple teams, the series follows Indian Relay racers as they compete in prestigious horse relays. CKUA’s Tony King is joined by series filmmaker and co-creator Dominique Keller to tell us more.

Sherwood Park-based game developer Treble Maker Musical Games is about to release Scale Runner, a musical card game designed to teach music theory. CKUA’s Scott Zielsdorf learns more about how this new game helps budding musicians.
