April Hutchinson shares her 20 year volunteer history at South Country Fair

Interview

On Saturday July 18 at 12:00pm (MT), CKUA celebrated South Country Fair with a special Festival Radio edition of the Dirty Windshields Radio Hour with Leeroy Stagger!

Leeroy brought us the story behind this Fort Macleod-based festival, which began as a camping weekend for folk clubs back in 1987. More than three decades later, South Country Fair continues to expand horizons with an annual three-day event focused on delivering a diversity of music, spoken word and performance art.

We heard from volunteer coordinator April Hutchinson who shared with us her 20 year volunteer history with the Fair, a festival that boasts more than 400 volunteers!
