Andrea House carries a tray of fish at Fringe and discovers a music career

#FringeSpot

If you’re a regular CKUA listener – or an irregular one – you’ve probably heard the lovely music of Edmonton singer/songwriter Andrea House.

Before she started recording music, she was one of hundreds of young actors cutting their teeth at Edmonton’s International Fringe Theatre Festival.

Those Fringe experiences gave her the confidence and the opportunity to pursue music. Andrea House spoke with Peter Brown about the Fringe, her music, and the role CKUA has played in her career.

Peter will bring us more interviews about the Edmonton Fringe from August 10th – 14th and August 17th – 21st.

August 11th at 5:45pm MT, Darrin Hagen will tell us about his journey from wearing a mermaid costume in a parade to life as an award-winning author and composer.
