Jeff Kynoch is a producer, recording engineer and musician. Jeff fell in love with music at a young age, being mesmerized by hearing and watching musicians play, and listening to his father’s record collection. This led him to pursue a career working in music, and to begin his own extensive record collection.

Jeff has deep roots in the Alberta music scene, and his diverse skill set has allowed him the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with artists and organizations from around the world. Many of these projects have had notable success on radio charts (including many #1 albums on CKUA’s own weekly and year-end album charts), have been used in film, and received accolades from both written and online press, in addition to being nominated for both JUNO and Polaris Music Prize awards.

When Jeff isn’t working in the recording studio or concert hall, he loves listening to records and discovering new favourites with friends. You’ll also find him in the garden and enjoying the outdoors and tinkering with electronics and instruments.

What are three go-to songs that inspire Jeff?
"I Am The Cosmos" by Chris Bell
"Left of The Dial" by The Replacements
"Here Come The Warm Jets" by Brian Eno
