Allison Brock’s love of music has always been the driving force in her life and work. In the late 70s she began working for alternative rock stations, and flipped over to the record company side of the music machine in the late 80s. Working with A&M, Sony, and Virgin records, she handled the marketing responsibilities for many artists, including Lenny Kravitz, Junkhouse, Colin Linden, The Rolling Stones, 54-40, Ben Harper, and Our Lady Peace. Allison has worked in all aspects of the music business, including artist management for Jann Arden. Returning to radio in 2000 as an independent radio producer and host, Allison premiered Wide Cut Country on CKUA, and it continues to this day. Allison’s incredible wealth of knowledge and passion for music remain as strong as ever.
