Zachary Kay is a singer-songwriter out of Grande Prairie, Alberta. He’s best known as the frontman for the band The Northbloods, but has also had a successful side-career as a solo artist and is the current lead guitar player for the band McKindred. His personal brand of folk/folk-rock reflects his experience of growing up in Northern Alberta. Themes of isolation, struggle, and redemption permeate his body of work. His passion for the written word shines through in every line, and his many years of experience make him a joy to watch
