Yavir Ukrainian Male Chorus of Edmonton 40th Anniversary Concert

Yavir Ukrainian Male Chorus of Edmonton continues to celebrate Ukraine’s beautiful choral legacy. Their repertoire includes Ukrainian folk, patriotic, sacred and contemporary songs. Their songs also celebrate Ukrainian-Canadian pioneers and their role in building this land.
Yavir is honored that all three of their previous conductors are taking part in the 40th Anniversary Concert including Orest Soltykevych (1984 to 2004 and 2009 to 2019), Dr. Lana Lysogor (2004 to 2006), Hryhory Malozhynsky (2006 to 2009).
