Wit & Wizardry

Wednesday, January 31st

Calgary’s own Comedy Magic Cabaret casts a spell for an entertaining evening; both amazing and amusing.

This monthly menagerie of magic is hosted by magician Ryan Pilling, known internationally as a creative inventor of original tricks, and for uncovering forgotten secrets from the history of magic. That’s right, you’ll see both the newest and oldest tricks in the book… in the same show!

Each month Ryan invites wonderfully talented friends who can strut their wit and/or wizardry to create a unique experience and a you-had-to-be-there show of wonders.
Theatre 1308 is a delightfully cozy, and comfortable, venue to see these miracles up close and in person. This show only appears once each month, so you need to pick a night before you get to pick a card.

Recommended for ages 16 and up.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
