Winter Solstice Sunset Walk

Saturday, December 21st

Saturday December 21st, 2024 is the day of the Winter Solstice!
Join us at Police Point Park to observe the sunset on the shortest day of the year from 3:30 – 4:30 pm.
We will be meeting in the theatre with chai, peppermint tea and hot chocolate available by $2 donation starting with a simple demonstration of the Winter Solstice. We will then learn about how cultural traditions worldwide are influenced by nature and the changing seasons, recognizing the importance of light for survival.

Don’t forget sunglasses and hope for sunny weather!
