Winds of Time

Edmonton Winds, under the direction of Raymond Baril, are proud to present the second concert of their 2025-2026 season, Winds of Time, on February 22, 2026. The concert will be held at the Triffo Theatre (MacEwan University, 11110 104 Ave) at 2 pm.

Winds of Time is a musical tour of the history of the Edmonton Winds, from the earliest days of the Saturday Music School to the modern Edmonton Winds. Archives and photos will be on display as the band performs pieces representing key moments in its evolution as an ensemble and celebrates its 50-year history. The concert will feature classics of the wind band genre like Percy Grainger’s Lincolnshire Posy and Martin Ellerby’s Paris Sketches alongside modern favourites like Loch na Beiste by local composer Allan Gilliland and Caveat by Sally Lamb McCune).
