The Commercial is thrilled to present a true Canadian legend, Wild T & The Spirit. Led by frontman Toney Springer, whose fierce guitar chops, fiery live performances, and unparalleled imagination drive his music to the next level.
Toney’s talent earned him recognition from some of the biggest names in the industry. He has shared the stage with music icons such as David Bowie, Jeff Healey, and Bon Jovi, and has been on Late Night shows such as Jay Leno, and David Letterman. Bowie invited him to record on his Black Tie White Noise album, describing him as “an absolute delight” and comparing his guitar style to that of Jimi Hendrix.
Jeff Healey recognized Toney’s unique ability to combine endless inspiration with raw emotion. “I followed him around like he was a Messiah,” said Healey. “I probably learned more from Toney than anybody else. Toney’s been my idol for years.”
