Watersheds In Winter

Saturday, January 3rd

Join us for a free nature walk January 3rd, 2026 from 1-2pm where we’ll chat about what’s happening in and around our watershed during the winter months. We’ll take a stroll along the river, enjoy the fresh air, and discover interesting things along the way. If the weather turns less cooperative, no worries – we’ll have an indoor presentation ready to go!
Together, we’ll explore questions like: What exactly is a watershed? How do things change in a watershed during winter? What impact does that have on our city? Is there more to it than just water? And so much more!

We’ll be meeting at the Nature Centre. Please remember to dress for the weather and wear comfortable, sturdy footwear. We look forward to seeing you there!
For more information about this or any of our other programs, please call us (403-529-6225), visit our website (www.natureline.info), or follow us on social media @interpretiveprogram

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
