Vox Musica Choral Society – “Gloria!”

Saturday, December 2nd

Vox Musica Choral Society, in conjunction with the Lethbridge Community Band Society Brass Band, will present “Gloria!” This concert offers Lethbridge audiences a rich variety of music to welcome December, including John Ritter’s “Gloria”, a festive setting for choir and brass, sing-along carols, and a piece by a local composer commissioned specifically for this concert that blends contemporary poetry with an ancient song of praise by St Francis of Assisi. The choir and brass ensemble will perform pieces together and separately; watch out for the Brass Band’s rare instruments, many of which are typically only used in brass ensembles!

Tickets to “Gloria!” Are $25 for adults and $15 for students. Children 12 and under can enter free when accompanied by an adult. You can buy tickets in advance at CASA or at the door, cash only, on the night of the concert.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
