Vinyl Dance Party Live

Saturday, October 25th

For the final weekend of our fundraiser, we start with the Vinyl Dance Party! It’s always a crowd favourite.

“It’s a time to boogie, shimmy, strut your stuff and hang out with a bunch of folks who dig CKUA as much as you do!” says host Amy van Keeken. “If you love vinyl records, then this dance party is for YOU.”

She’ll be joined by guests DJ Stovo (host Grant Stovel) and DJ Library Wizard (music library assistant Daniel Goodridge).

“To say that they are familiar with the vinyl library at CKUA is an understatement,” says van Keeken. “I can’t wait to see what great platters they bring out for us to dance to!

“The vinyl dance party is just SO. MUCH. FUN,” she concludes. “Everyone dresses to impress and folks bust out their best dance moves.  It’s community, it’s a celebration and it’s all about the music and togetherness.  What could be better?”

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
