Veterans Foodbank of Edmonton Fundraiser

A collection of Edmonton and surrounding area performers are joining to raise awareness for the Veteran’s Food Bank of Edmonton. A full day of shows will be held at the Newcastle Pub, 8170 – 50 Street, Edmonton, on December 17, 2023. Starting at 1 pm, the shows are expected to go until 10 pm, with eight acts performing a variety of musical styles. Donations of cash and food items will be accepted at the door, and a 50/50 draw will be held. Presentations from the veteran’s associations will be interspersed with the musical acts.

The Veteran’s Food Bank of Edmonton supports all military and frontline emergency personnel, regardless of whether they are retired or currently serving. One hundred percent of the donations go to providing veterans with assistance and services. All clients using these services are guaranteed to receive respectful and dignified treatment. Clients can shop for themselves to ensure they receive exactly what they need, and enough to cover 10-14 days’ worth of food, depending on their circumstance. Valued partners provide the Veteran’s Food Bank of Edmonton with nutritious food and hygiene products to help meet the client’s needs.
