Up on the Square Summer Celebration

On June 18, 2022, 12-8 pm, join the Edmonton Arts Council for Up on the Square, a summer celebration in Churchill Square! This free, family-friendly event will feature live music and performances, SNAP print demonstrations, food trucks, and activities for kids. This is the perfect event to kick off the summer festival season!

Come to Churchill Square to enjoy:

– Performances by Poet Laureate Titilope Sonuga with Melafrique, award-winning Two-Spirit Mohawk artist Shawnee Kish, recent Juno award winner Maria Dunn, Don Berner Trio, Brianna Lizotte with Justin Smith, and DJ sets from DJ Diamond and DJ Gulzar
– Print demos by the Society of Northern Alberta Printmakers (SNAP)
– UAlberta Student Design Association showcase
– Kids activities and the Pyramid of Seasons
– Face painting
