To honour the importance of Truth & Reconciliation Day, Edmonton Short Film Festival will hold a free screening of short films, interspersed with short talks by local Indigenous authors about their books. Please join us for this creative community gathering.

After each film and excerpt from a local Indigenous author, there will be a discussion on the content presented. This dialogue is crucial for promoting understanding, empathy, and unity. By showcasing a diverse range of Indigenous films, this event contributes to the preservation of Indigenous cultures and tradi1ons.
