Tremoloco

Sunday, July 19th

Calgary House Concerts is bringing people together through music, connection, and shared experience in a warm, welcoming, and casual setting.

We’re excited to welcome Tremoloco back for another fun, feel-good afternoon as part of our Veterans Association Food Bank Booster Concert series.

This marks the third Calgary House Concerts presentation featuring Tremoloco, and we’re thrilled to share them with our friends at the Montgomery Community Association. Their roots-driven, road-tested sound continues to resonate with Calgary audiences while offering something fresh and distinctive.

Coming up from California, Tremoloco brings a rare Tex-Mex–influenced sound not often heard in Calgary, blending roots, country, Americana, and rock ‘n’ roll with the spirit of the Southwest. Shaped by years on the road, their music is relaxed, lively, and full of character—feel-good, toe-tapping energy that draws you in from the very first song.

This concert introduces Tremoloco to the community as part of the Montgomery Connective Music Project, connecting local and touring artists with music-supportive neighbourhood audiences in Montgomery and Bowness. Their music is a perfect fit for a relaxed, all-ages afternoon where people gather, connect, and enjoy something a little different together.

Unlike traditional concert venues, Calgary House Concerts creates an intimate environment where artists and audience share the same space, creating genuine human connection. It isn’t distant or staged—it’s personal. For many guests, it’s their first opportunity to experience a professional touring artist in such a close community setting. For the artists, it’s an opportunity to meet the people behind the applause, hear their stories, and leave with something even more valuable than another performance—they leave with new friendships and a stronger connection to the communities they visit.

That connection is powerful, grounding, and often humbling, creating lasting music memories rooted in real human interaction within a Calgary neighbourhood setting, far removed from the typical bar or nightclub experience. It’s where lasting community connections begin through the shared experience of live music.

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
