Traffic Jams Live

Friday, October 17th

Join us at the Ironwood Stage and Grill, Friday, October 17, as hosts Lisa Wilton and Kate Stevens launch the fundraiser with Traffic Jams Live. It’s going to be a fun, friendly evening, with interviews and performances by local artists including roots-rock musician Marcus Trummer.

“We’re changing up locations this time around and doing the show live from one of the province’s best live venues,” says Wilton. “The Ironwood has hosted the likes of Mary Gauthier, Mariel Buckley, Petunia & the Vipers, Joel Plaskett and more, and it’s an honour to bring Traffic Jams to that stage.”

“People should come out to hear great music and have a good time,” she says. “It’s a fun, in-person way to support CKUA and to meet fellow CKUA listeners, donors, and staff.”

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
