Tom Phillips

Sunday, January 25th

Karen & Bill’s House Concerts presents Tom Phillips in concert.

Doors open at 1:30, music starts at 200.

Check our website: www.bkconcerts.ca or email: tickets@bkconcerts.ca

An esteemed statesperson of the Calgary music scene, Tom Phillips earned his laurels over decades. He recorded with Gordon Lightfoot’s band in Toronto before releasing several albums, both live and in studio, with his legendary long time honky-tonk band The Men of Constant Sorrow (MOCS)

So take a musical walk with Phillips and gaze at life through his seasoned eyes. He’s got it covered with a hundred songs that undress truths so simple they’re frightening.

As usual, we will have an assortment of goodies some new and some old favourites to nibble on. Of course, we’ll have the coffee on and water for tea.
As a reminder, our concerts are BYOB and $40 per person will be collected as you enter the theatre.

Our house concerts are by invitation only. To request your invitation, or for more information, email: info@bkconcerts.ca

Location: near Priddis

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
