Tim Isberg

Thursday, June 27th

Tim Isberg is a singer-songwriter and veteran soldier, serving in places like Rwanda and Afghanistan.
Raised in Southern Alberta, Tim is a storyteller and multi-award nominee who brings well-crafted songs to the stage along with an array of life experiences that he shares with his audiences.

Tim returns to his home town and the iconic Empress Theatre with his new project ”Prairie Fire” – a history based album and show of original songs based on events and people of the late 19th century Canadian prairies. Tim songs highlight places, characters, and legends such as Jerry Potts, the North West Mounted Police and his hometown of Fort Macleod.

Tim’s history themed concert will be with his 5 piece band and kicks off Fort Macleod’s 150th anniversary celebrations!.. how fitting!

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
