Tim Isberg

Friday, January 10th

The Beatty Heritage House is celebrating its centennial in 2025 and our first event is a concert on Friday January 10th.

Tim Isberg, from the Edmonton area, will kick off our centennial celebration. He was at the Beatty Heritage House in the spring of 2023, and he’s back with a new set of songs featuring the history of Alberta, so a good start for our year of celebration.

“Steamboats and Railways, Love and Loss, Triumphs, and Tragedies”
The Canadian West is a land of legends, where pioneers and outlaws, heroes and villains, steamboats and railways, fur trade and rebellion, love and loss, and triumph and tragedy shaped the nation’s destiny.
Tim Isberg, a singer/songwriter, veteran soldier, and gifted storyteller, invites you to explore our fascinating history based on his acclaimed third album ‘Prairie Fire’, featuring original story songs that breathe life into the captivating tales of events and characters of the 19th century Canadian Prairies and Western Plains.

To book your seat contact Teri Ormberg at 403-843-6497, or email bhhsociety@gmail.com

Ticket cost is $30. The Concert is at 7:30 p.m. With doors opening at 6:45 p.m. Limit of 40 people, so it’s wise to get your tickets ahead.

Hope to see you there for the start of our centennial celebrations.

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
