The Roddy Ellias Trio

The music of Roddy Ellias has been called “unapologetically beautiful”. Saxophonist Joel Frahm calls Ellis “one of the finest guitarists on planet earth.” Come with us on an enchanting and poetic journey where the music pays no heed to the limits of genre, dipping into folk, jazz, classical and Brazilian influences. Jazz guitar is meant to be experienced up close so come revel in the precision and passion that are hallmarks of a the music of Roddy Ellias. Enhancing Roddy’s playing and bringing their own artistry to delight are Dave Laing on drums and Paul Johnstone on bass.
