The Redline Trio, Kate Stevens and Justine Giles

Sunday, September 21st

The Chocolate Box #1 with The Redline Trio, Kate Stevens and Justine Giles

BuckingJam palace is excited to present a new series titled The Chocolate Box. Each Chocolate Box concert offers a vibrant mix of three 20-minute sets, featuring Calgary artists from a range of musical genres and disciplines. Inspired by the idea that music, like a box of chocolates, offers a variety of flavours to enjoy, these concerts invite you to sample something new—without having to commit to just one style.
We know it can be intimidating to attend a full concert in a genre you’re unfamiliar with. That’s why Chocolate Box is designed to be accessible, surprising, and fun—introducing audiences to new sounds in an inviting, bite-sized format. Who knows? You might discover a new favourite.

For Chocolate Box #1, we are excited to be presenting a selection of Calgary favourites: Kate Stevens (Blues/R&B), The Redline Trio (Jazz) and Justine Giles (singer/songwriter).

*This concert series is supported in part by a Calgary Arts Development (CADA) Project Grant.

———————————————————————————-

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
