The Ray Charles Tribute Orchestra

Thursday, December 11th

The Big December Bash is Here!
In support of “Friends of Live Blues and Jazz” aka associate members of the Red Deer Blues Society!

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the genius of Ray Charles, brought to life by the electrifying Ray Charles Tribute Orchestra.

Featuring Award-Winning Vocalist Thomas “The Voice” Alexander — formerly of Red Deer — whose powerhouse performance channels the heart and fire of Ray’s iconic sound.

Backed by The John Gray Orchestra, a lineup of world-class musicians led by John V Gray, former touring bassist for Ray Charles himself. This show carries the legacy of soul, rhythm & blues with unmatched authenticity and passion.

From “Georgia on My Mind” to “Hit the Road Jack,” this is more than a concert — it’s a journey through the golden age of American music.

One night only. Don’t miss it. Let the spirit of Ray Charles live on — right here in Red Deer.
Cash Bar.

The CKUA Events Calendar is a listing of music, arts, and culture happenings for the whole province. It is a terrific resource that CKUA offers to the community, to share details about concerts, gallery openings, plays, and films.

Please note that due to the amount of listings, we publish events that focus on music, arts, or culture. While we'd love to publish all submitted items, the sheer number of events means that we sometimes have to decline submissions.

Need to change or update your submitted event?

Email details to feedback@ckua.com and the CKUA team of calendar volunteers will do the rest.
