Parks Foundation Serves Up Support For Calgary Parks

Community Pickleball Fundraiser

The Daisy Classic tournament will raise funds for inclusive parks and recreation spaces across Calgary.

Parks Foundation Calgary is hosting The Daisy Classic, an
all-day pickleball tournament and fundraiser at The Club 315 on Saturday, May 30,
2026.
The event will bring together players of all skill levels for a day of friendly competition,
entertainment, and community connection, with proceeds supporting the creation of
vibrant and inclusive parks, sport courts, and gathering spaces across Calgary.
Participants can register for the tournament individually, or as a team.

Event Details:

● Time: All day: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (tournament and awards), 5:15 p.m. to 8:30
p.m. (dinner and live entertainment from The Lovebullies)
● Registration: Space is still available to register on Eventbrite. All net proceeds
go toward Parks Foundation initiatives.
As demand for improved outdoor recreation spaces continues to grow across the city,
support for community organizations like Parks Foundation is becoming increasingly
important. For more than 40 years, the organization has helped create and revitalize
hundreds of parks and public spaces across the city, including playgrounds, pathways,
sport courts, and natural spaces.
